I think, Noobtube really suck balls. Its very overpowered like in MW. Does not much area dMG but kills with direct hit. So every Assault uses Noobtube only, mostly. In BF2 they didnt have an ammo box, so they couldnt replace them by themself. Now they can!
I think 50 percent of my death are because of 40mm Grenade!
It also makes the 1-round-shotgun-gadget look like a useless toy. In BF2142 you had at least 4+ rounds. In I really liked it for close combat. Now I use Noobtube instead.
Also a very familiar scenario. Hidding behind something, often clans use these tec., and spam noobtube nades to an area, like good old Strike at Karkand.
My personal solution-> No replacing via Ammobox. Just 2 shots per life!
I think if they had made it easier to kill with the automatic weapons then people wouldn't use it so much but unfortunately while it takes a whole magazine to kill somebody players will look for easy ways to kill.
I never found any HC servers? Have they special Nametags?
Can you list the differences?
At the moment i am using, when playing assault, about 30% Rifle and the rest Noobtube. after some aimpractise its just devastating.
And by the way, now i use pistol more and more, and i think it also makes much more dmg per bullet. But still testing...maybe anyone has more xp to share, cuz i rarely play sniper.
Sniper takes loads of practice due to gravity having an effect on your bullets but headshots are most satisfying
Pistol is very accurate compared to the rifles.
Some hardcore servers have "HARDCORE" in the servername, HYPERNIA servers have several HC servers in USA and UK. If you click on the arrow to the right of the servername in the server browser it gives you a list of the server settings, one of these being "HARDCORE on/off" but unfortunately these details are not correct at the moment but will be fixed for release.
